Upon return, I would lay the ground for an exploration of the European translation market, and within this context:

• Reflect on the pertinence of a "translation audit" for the International Division (an initiative which would prove conclusive in 01/1999)
• Join the "Bundesverband der Dolmetscher und Übersetzer" (the German equivalent of the American Translators Association)
• Discover new market, business and job opportunities in the area of software localization
